Toyota's Intelligent HouseToyota unveiled "BABI", an intelligent house of the future. This house that is located in the Japanese town of Nagakute-Cho, Aichi Prefecture, was co-developed with a University of Tokyo Professor Ken Sakamura, who's also directing Ubiquitous ID Center. [some info about TRON Intelligent Project.] The house has an RFID closet, an RFID fridge, and so on -- they are actually based on the systems Toyota uses at their factories. Also, the house has a unique UPS system -- Toyota's hybrid car Prius supplies electric power to the house in case of power outage.
