Toys with RFID, Sound and Tactile Sensors

IT Coordinator's Tsurezure Diary introduces tree different kinds of toys in the posting titled "Toys with RFID, Sound and Tactile Sensors". Besides Naoru-kun, introduced are Yumel and Flu Fleur. Yumem can be programmed to go to bed and wake up at specific times of a day and you as a owner can let it know when you go to bed and wake up by touching it. If you go to bed or wake up at irregular times, Yumemi detects it and says things like "Are you alright?" or "You work too hard, don't you?" ( Yumel can actually say 1,200 different phrases in response to touch and sound. ) Flu Fleur "responds to sound and the flower's petal is open and close slowly. Also, the light of flower flows with the motion gently." UPDATE boing boing says Yumel is targeted for seniors Posted by konomi at February 18, 2005 12:04 AM | TrackBack
