Japanese govt to allow active RFID chips for export/import control - report

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications plans to approve the use of active radio frequency identification (RFID) chips that are capable of sending data across a distance of more than 100 meters, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun reported at the weekend
